David Cvetkovski and Paula Gepp have spent over 20 years at the forefront of the early talent industry, not as observers, but as innovators who have shifted and shaped the industry.
Together they launched Fusion Graduate Consultancy in 2008, the industry’s first early talent consultancy — and went on to build Readygrad, PushApply, GradPassport, and Inceptive. Each venture was a response to a specific gap they saw in the market. Each one moved the industry forward.
But through all of it, one problem remained unsolved.
Organisations were still making high-stakes early talent decisions without the intelligence to make them well. The tools existed in fragments, an assessment here, a platform there, an advisory engagement somewhere else. Nothing connected. Nothing learned. Every hiring round started from scratch.
David and Paula knew what was needed. A system that could capture real talent signals, interpret them into meaningful intelligence, and apply them across the full lifecycle, from attraction through to performance. The vision was clear. The technology to build it wasn’t ready.
Then it was.
When Tom Klimovski and Mark Stella came on board, bringing nearly 50 years of combined experience building data platforms and AI infrastructure for Australia’s most complex organisations, TectoniQ became possible.
TiQ wasn’t a feature added to an advisory practice. It was the missing piece that made everything else make sense.

What we believe
It sounds simple. But most organisations aren’t making better talent decisions — they’re making fast ones, convenient ones, or ones based on incomplete data and unconscious bias.
TectoniQ exists to change that. We believe that when organisations truly understand the people they’re hiring and developing their potential, their capability, their trajectory, everything improves. Hiring quality. Development outcomes. Retention. Performance. Culture.
That belief is why we built TiQ. It’s why we combine human intelligence with technology intelligence. And it’s why we measure everything, because better decisions require better evidence.
This isn’t just our philosophy. It’s the reason TectoniQ exists.
The team
Four founders. One shared belief that better talent decisions create stronger organisations.
Paula has spent over 20 years reshaping the early talent industry, as a talent manager, strategist, and co-founder of some of Australia’s most recognised early talent products and services. Her career has been built on a rare combination of assessment science, talent strategy, and practical delivery expertise, and a conviction that the best solutions are evidence-based, practical, and built to last.
That philosophy has driven everything she has built. From her early career as an early talent manager in the UK and Australia, to co-founding a series of award-winning early talent ventures, Paula has consistently been at the intersection of what organisations need and what the industry hasn’t yet delivered.
As co-founder of TectoniQ, Paula leads operations and product, staying as close to the detail as she does to the vision. She is known for clear, direct advice that organisations can actually implement, and for building solutions that work in the real world, not just on paper.
Paula and David were recognised with the prestigious SARA (SEEK) Recruitment Agency of the Year award, and together co-authored Graduate Confidential, The Guide to Graduate Program Success.
If you’re rethinking how your organisation finds, selects, or develops talent, Paula would love to have a chat over a nice glass of bubbles.
